Archive

The Archive’s role is to collect, organise, and preserve a range of materials related to the documentation of the artist’s life and work. These include publications, photographs, press materials, correspondence, and any other material considered valuable for this purpose. It encourages and supports initiatives that aim to promote the profile and body of work of Ennio Morlotti.

The Archive has established a Scientific Committee, which in the past has included Donatella Biasin, Gianfranco Bruno, Piergiovanni Castagnoli and Marco Vallora. The current members of the Committee are Alessia Mesirca (President), Francesco Guzzetti, Lia Perissinotti, and Gian Luigi Rebesco. The Committee continues its efforts to catalogue the artist’s oils, drawings, pastels, and other works believed to be in his possession. This effort is aimed at publishing an addendum to the catalogue raisonné and safeguarding his image and work from counterfeiting.

The Archive is always available to provide information about the painter and his work to those who request it. The Association allows scholars, collectors, curators, and institutions to consult the material it holds, which includes both published and unpublished material. Published material includes catalogues, magazines, newspapers, documentaries, and interviews, while unpublished material includes correspondence, photographs, and writings.

The Association is committed to working with those interested in consulting the materials to raise awareness and promote knowledge of Ennio Morlotti’s work.

Archive is located at Via Aurelio Saffi 23 in Milan
